As per a study conducted by Chitika Ad Networks, iOS 6.1.2 has become the most sought-after version of Apple, within one week of its launch. As this latest update fixed a battery life issue which has been a major phone feature/concern; it’s understandable that the rate of adoption for iOS 6.1.2 will reach this level so quickly.
Yet, another report by Distimo, states that iPad adoption will increase 8x if iPad developers drop their iPad pricing between $1 and $3. Distimo found out that iPad app downloads jumped up by a considerable 871%. With an aggressive rate of iPad adoption,, Apple has to churn out updates at an even faster rate.
